How it works

From a new classroom to clear results

Set up classrooms, invite your class, turn lessons into study sets, and see the results, all in one school account.

Step 1: Classrooms

Create a classroom for every class

One classroom per class, grade, or course, all in your school account. Switch between them in a click.

  • Your plan sets the number of classrooms and seats
  • Each classroom keeps its own students, quizzes, and results
Animation: a teacher's classroom list shows Biology 9A, Chemistry 10B and Algebra 11C. The teacher clicks Create classroom, types History 9B and creates it. The list now includes History 9B, and the school plan shows 2,500 student seats and 20 teacher seats.

Step 2: Invitations

Invite your teachers and students

Add co-teachers, then invite a whole class at once: paste a list of emails or upload a CSV file.

  • Students can also join with a code, a link, or a QR code
  • Students join for free on a school plan
Animation: a teacher pastes five student emails into Bulk invite students, reviews them and sends five invitations while a progress bar runs. The History 9B members list then fills as the five students join beside the owner and a co-teacher, and student seats rise to 5 of 2,500.

Step 3: Study sets

Turn any source into a full study set

Upload a PDF, slides, audio, a YouTube video, or a web page. QuizRise drafts questions, flashcards, a summary, and a mind map for you to review.

  • Multiple choice, true or false, and fill-in-the-blank
  • Generated in the language your class is taught in
Animation: a PDF, slides, an audio lecture, a YouTube video and a website are added one after another. The teacher clicks Create study set, the quiz is ready, and a summary, a mind map, flashcards and questions appear.

Step 4: Sharing

Share it with your class

Share a study set with a classroom and email the students who joined. They see only the study tools you turn on.

  • Allow one quiz attempt or many
  • Turn each study tool on or off per quiz
Animation: a teacher shares the photosynthesis quiz with the classroom audience and emails the joined students. The view switches to a student, who reads the summary, opens the mind map, flips a flashcard and rates it Good, then answers a question and sees Correct.

Step 5: Reports

See what every student understands

See how scores are spread and which questions the class missed. Open a question to see who answered what, then follow any student.

  • Find the questions that need reteaching
  • Export classroom and quiz reports as CSV
Animation: the photosynthesis Quiz Stats count up attempts and the average score and show how scores are spread. The question chart shows Q3 at 38 percent; a click opens who answered it and how, with Leo Garcia's wrong answer highlighted. Classroom stats then open Leo's page with his average score, practice totals and every attempt.

Privacy and data

How we handle school data

A short overview of how QuizRise handles school content. Our privacy policy has the full details.

Teachers stay in control
Teachers can edit generated questions, choose who can open each quiz, and choose which study tools students see for it.
Where files are stored
Uploaded files are stored with Amazon Web Services in the EU. Some processing, such as AI generation, can take place outside the EU.
Deleting an account
Account owners can delete their account in the app. This starts the removal of their classrooms and quizzes. Our privacy policy explains what we keep and for how long.
AI and service providers
We use third-party services, such as OpenAI, Google Cloud and Cloudflare, to process the content you upload. Our privacy policy describes how we work with them.

What teachers and learners say

Questions from schools

Yes. School plans are custom and depend on how many classrooms and student seats you need. Contact our team for a quote.
Yes. Any teacher can create a free account and try quiz generation and a classroom before you talk to us.
Teachers can use text, PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint slides, web pages, YouTube videos with captions, images, and audio files. See the AI question generator for the full workflow.
Formative assessment checks what students understand during a unit, while there is still time to reteach. Teachers make a short quiz or flashcard set from the day's lesson, share it with the class, and open the report to see which questions the class missed and which students need help. For a classroom example, see how a science teacher uses AI for formative assessment, or browse formative assessment examples.
We reply by email, show you QuizRise with your own lesson material, and set up a plan for your classrooms and student seats. Your teachers can start with free accounts in the meantime.
QuizRise writes questions from the material a teacher uploads. AI can make mistakes, so teachers can review and edit the questions before they share a quiz.
QuizRise does not connect directly to Google Classroom, Canvas, or another LMS. Teachers can share a quiz link in any LMS, or export questions as Moodle XML, GIFT, Aiken, or Respondus files and import them.
QuizRise builds questions from the source material a teacher uploads, not from an open chat. It also gives teachers classrooms, student invites, attempt rules, results reports, and exports in the same place.
Students need an account to join a classroom. A teacher can also share a public quiz link, which students can take without an account.
Yes. Teachers can generate questions in the language they choose. The app interface is available in 10 languages.
Account owners can delete their account in the app. See the privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
