1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy is issued on behalf of QUIZRISE LTD ("we", "us", or
"our"). We are the controller responsible for your personal data. Our
platform offers AI-powered tools for creating educational quizzes.
Contact Details

2. What information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: Your name, email address, and password
when you create an account
- Profile information: Any additional details you choose
to add to your profile
- Content: Documents, text, audio recordings, or links you
upload to create quizzes
- Communication: Messages you send us for support or feedback
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely
by our payment providers
Information we collect automatically
- Usage information: How you use our service, which features
you access, and your quiz performance
- Device information: Your browser type, operating system,
and IP address
- Account security signals: When you sign up, when you sign
in, and at most once a day while you use the service, we store your country,
a general device type (for example "mobile, iOS, Safari") and a one-way
code (a keyed hash) made from your IP address. We never store the IP address
itself with your account. We also keep a normalized form of your email
address (for example without a "+" tag) to find duplicate accounts.
We use these signals only to prevent fraud and
abuse, such as one person creating many accounts, based on our legitimate
interest in keeping the service secure. We delete them when you delete your
account. If you delete an account that used free AI generations in its
current monthly cycle, we keep only a one-way code made from your email
address, the number of generations used and the date that cycle ends, until
that date (at most about one month). A new account with the same email
address, including variants such as a "+" tag, then gets the rest of that
month's free limit, not a new one. After that we delete the code.
- Cookies: Small files stored on your device to remember
your preferences and improve your experience
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:

4. When we share your information
We don't sell your personal information. We only share it

Service providers
We work with trusted companies to help us provide our service:
- AI services: Anthropic to process your content and generate
quizzes (with OpenAI as a backup provider), Google Cloud Document AI to
read text from scanned files, and Cloudflare Workers AI to transcribe audio
sources
- Payment processors: Paddle and Lemon Squeezy to handle
billing securely

to run the service, Neon to host our database, Cloudflare to deliver and
protect our website and app, and Upstash for rate limiting. Uploaded files
are stored in the EU (Ireland).
- Security and fraud prevention: Emailable to check that a
sign-up email address is real and not a temporary address, Google reCAPTCHA
to detect automated sign-ups, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our
contact forms
- Analytics: Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how
our service is used. On our website they run only with your consent.
- In-app tools: ProfitWell to measure subscription metrics,
Popupsmart to show in-app messages, and the Lemon Squeezy affiliate program
to credit referrals
- Logging and monitoring: Grafana Cloud to store technical
logs, which can include IP addresses, so we can find errors and abuse
- Email services: Resend to send you important account
updates
- Team notifications: our internal communication tools to
alert our team about new sign-ups and billing events, with account IDs and
the email domain only, never your name or full email address

use it for the specific services they provide to us.
