About QuizRise

We build QuizRise to give teachers back the hours behind every quiz

QuizRise is an AI quiz and study tool that turns a teacher's own lessons (PDFs, slides, documents, web pages and videos) into quizzes, flashcards, summaries, mind maps and class reports. It was co-founded in London in 2024 by teacher Hilal Baydar and has been used by more than 500,000 students and teachers.

Our story

Why QuizRise exists

Hilal Baydar taught middle school science in private schools for five years. Every week, hours went into writing questions and running quizzes by hand, time that could have gone to her students.

QuizRise started as her own assistant for that work. In late 2023 it went live as a question generator that any teacher could use: add the lesson material, then review the questions before class.

Since then it has grown into study sets, classrooms and reports, so one lesson becomes practice for the class and the results show who needs help.
